Excellent pan and incredible value for the price
I bought this 10” pan during the Kickstarter back in 2017, and received it in 2018. This became my primary pan almost immediately, and continues to be so. It’s lightweight for what it is, many CI pans are heavier, heats up evenly and holds heat extremely well. The long handle is nice because it takes a little longer for the heat to get to it, so I can bare hand the pan when cooking eggs if need be. The milled surface is excellent, and was a critical reason for why I bought - a milled surface pan will usually cost a lot more than this pan does. My only criticism is, this is entirely a personal opinion, I’m not a huge fan of using flaxseed oil for seasoning. While flaxseed oil does have advantages making it awesome for seasoning CI, it has a low smoke point and can chip off, which mine already did. That’s it. I would absolutely buy this pan again, it’s worth every penny!
Great value for the process it went through
I like the smoothed milled interior of the pan and the good Karma from the company.cheers
Best skillet value
The greater good skillets in my opinion are the best value in both 12 inch and 10 inch. I love the machined cooking surface. I added three additional coats of seasoning, using a combination of beeswax, grapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil and Avocado oil. This is my second 10 inch Greater Goods skillet, I love to handle that accommodates the cooking utensil. I love that I can cook eggs without them sticking.
I love how smooth the bottom is and that it is preseasoned with flaxseed oil. Cooked eggs and sausage this morning with no sticking.
