Let the good times roll with these tasty, hurricane-inspired jello shots!
1. Make the Base Layer
Use a food scale to measure 4 oz of orange Jello, and set it aside. Then, using a sauce pot, boil 1 cup of passion fruit juice.
2. Stir in the J-E-L-L-O
Remove from the heat and stir in your jello. Once it dissolves add a cup of cold fruit juice, lime juice, and light rum. Stir to combine.
3. Pour it Out
Carefully – pour the mixture into cups. Fill each cup ½ way, and set them in the fridge for at least one hour.
4. Make the Top Layer
Use a food scale to measure 2 oz of orange Jello, and set it aside. Then, using a sauce pot, boil 1/2 cup of passion fruit juice.
5. Stir in the J-E-L-L-O
Remove from the heat and stir in your jello. Once it dissolves, add the remaining fruit juice, dark rum, lime juice, and grenadine. Stir to combine.
6. Top it Off
Pour the mixture on top of the bottom layer and, refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until you’re ready to let to the good times roll!
