Summary

This homemade fruit leather is simple, delicious, and perfect for kids (and adults!) who crave a naturally sweet snack!

Ingredients

4 Cups Fruit (Frozen & Thawed or Fresh)

2 Tbsp Honey

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 200°F.

2. Blend It Up

Add fruit and honey to a blender, then blend until completely smooth.

3. Spread & Smooth

Pour the fruit mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Use the back of a spoon to spread it evenly, then gently shake the pan back and forth to smooth it out.

4. Bake Low & Slow

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 2–3 hours, until the fruit is dry but still slightly sticky.

5. Cool & Cut

Remove from the oven and let the fruit leather cool completely. Cut into 2-inch strips, roll them up, and enjoy!

Notes

1. Choose the Right Fruit

Mango, berries, apples, and peaches work great. Avoid fruits with high water content (like watermelon) as they take longer to dry.

2. Check for Doneness

The leather should be dry to the touch but slightly tacky. If it’s too wet, it needs more time. If it’s brittle, it is overbaked.

3. Save Some for Later

Keep in an airtight container at room temp for up to 2 weeks, or freeze for up to 6 months for longer storage.
