Summary

Whether you’re prepping ahead or baking the same day, this dough is your new go-to for pizza night!

Ingredients

4 Cups All-Purpose Flour (Plus Extra for Dusting)

2  Tsp Kosher Salt

1 Tsp Instant Yeast

2 Cups Lukewarm Water

Directions

1. Mix the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and instant yeast. Gradually add the lukewarm water, stirring until the dough comes together.

2. Let It Rise

Cover the bowl with a clean towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise at room temperature for 1½ hours, or until it doubles in size.

3. Divide and Shape

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and divide it into 4 equal sections. Shape each portion into a smooth ball.

4. Rest the Dough

For better flavor and texture, transfer the dough balls to an airtight container and refrigerate overnight. If you’re short on time, let the dough rest at room temperature for 1 hour, then proceed.

5. Shape and Final Rest

Using your hands, gently cup each dough ball into a round shape. Cover with a towel and let rest for 1 more hour before stretching.

6. Stretch and Bake

Stretch each dough round into a 10–12 inch circle. Place the dough on a floured baking sheet or pizza peel. Add your sauce, mozzarella, and favorite toppings. Bake at 550°F for 5–6 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

7. Slice and Enjoy!

Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes, slice it up, and dig in!

Notes

1. Use Lukewarm Water

Water that’s too hot can kill the yeast; lukewarm water (about 100°F) is just right.

2. Don’t Overwork the Dough

Handle it gently when shaping to keep it light and airy.

3. Preheat the Oven

Make sure your oven is fully preheated to 550°F for a perfectly crisp crust
