This homemade frozen yogurt is simple to make and absolutely delicious. Here’s how to turn a few simple ingredients into a creamy, dreamy dessert!
1. Combine Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
2. Churn It Out
If using a KitchenAid—make sure your KitchenAid ice cream bowl has been frozen according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually for at least 15 hours).
Attach the frozen ice cream bowl and dasher to your KitchenAid mixer. Pour the chilled yogurt mixture into the bowl and turn the mixer to the “stir” setting. Let it churn for about 20-25 minutes, or until the yogurt reaches a creamy, frozen consistency.
If you use a different ice cream maker or attachment, pour the chilled mixture in and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Enjoy!
Eat it right away as soft-serve or transfer the churned yogurt into a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours.
Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy your homemade frozen yogurt!
