Summary

This olive oil latte is the perfect pick-me-up!

Ingredients

½ Cup of Strong Coffee (or 2 Shots Espresso)

1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Cup Oat Milk

½ Tbsp Vanilla Syrup

Directions

1. Brew Your Coffee

Make half a cup of strong, hot coffee. We chose to make ours a pour-over coffee. This way, we could better control how strong our brew would be.

2. Steam the Milk

We chose to go dairy-free for this recipe and used oat milk (plus, it’s what a certain coffee chain uses in their recipe). You can steam the milk using a steam wand, frother, or the method we chose: a basic handheld whisk.

Warm 6 oz of oat milk over low-medium heat. Then, drizzle in olive oil and a bit of vanilla syrup and whisk together until the mixture resembles a light, loose foam.

3. Top the Latte

Spoon (or pour) the vanilla, olive oil, and oat milk mixture on top of your coffee. Top with an extra drizzle of olive oil, and that’s it!

Enjoy the much-needed caffeine boost!

Notes

1. Pour Over Perfection

For the pour-fect pour-over, start in the center of the grounds, and pour in a steady spiral toward the outer edge, then back toward the center.

2. Barista-Style

Use a frother to get the perfect foam texture just like your favorite coffee shop.

3. Sweeten to Taste

Adjust the amount of vanilla syrup based on your preference for sweetness. Or, experiment with adding other flavors like caramel or hazelnut syrup for a twist on the classic vanilla.
