Summary

Let your pup enjoy a cool, refreshing treat on a hot day! This simple recipe is easy to make and sure to be a hit with your furry friend.

Ingredients

4 ripe bananas

32oz plain Greek yogurt

8oz cup peanut butter

Directions

1. Prep the Ingredients

Peel and slice the bananas, then freeze them for at least 2 hours. This will make blending easier and give the ice cream a smoother texture.

2. Blend it Up

In a blender, combine the frozen banana slices, Greek yogurt, and peanut butter. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop occasionally to scrape down the sides.

3. Let it Churn

Then, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 40 minutes until it reaches a "soft-serve" consistency.

Don’t sweat it if you don’t have an ice cream maker. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Cover and freeze for at least 2 hours or until the ice cream is firm enough to scoop.

4. Serve it to Fido

Scoop the doggy ice cream into bowls and serve. Remember, moderation is key—even though this treat is dog-friendly, it should be given in moderation.

Notes

1. Save Some for Later

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. The ice cream can last for up to 2 weeks, but we bet it won't stick around that long!

2. Add an Extra Treat

For extra flav-FUR, top with mini milk bones or sprinkle bite-sized training treats on top.
