Summary

Skip the store-bought stuff—this homemade hummus is smooth, rich, and packed with flavor. Made with just a few pantry staples, it blends up in minutes and tastes way better than anything in a tub.

Ingredients

1 Can (15 Oz) Chickpeas (Drained)

¼ Cup Tahini

2 Tbsp Lemon Juice

2 Cloves Garlic

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

½ Tsp Cumin

½ Tsp Salt

2 Tbsp Water (As Needed for Texture)

Paprika (For Garnish)

Directions

1. Blend It Up

In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. If needed, add water 1 tbsp at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.

2. Plate & Finish

Spoon your hummus onto a plate or into a bowl. Drizzle with a little extra olive oil, garnish with a sprinkle of paprika, and enjoy! Serve with pita, veggies, grain bowls, or spread on sandwiches.

Notes

1. Want it Ultra-Smooth?

Peel the chickpeas before blending—or use a high-powered blender.

2. Add More Flavor

Add roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, or extra garlic for a flavor twist.

3. Save Some for Later

Keeps well in the fridge for up to 5 days in a sealed container.
