Summary

Forget the neon sports drinks. This simple homemade mix does the job with simple, real ingredients. And, it gives your body what it actually needs to keep going strong—whether you're chasing kids, hitting a workout, or just trying to stay hydrated.

Ingredients

1 Cup Coconut Water

1 Cup Plain Water

¼ Cup Lemon Juice

¼ Cup Lime Juice

1 Tbsp Honey

½ Tsp Sea Salt

Directions

1. Grab an Empty Water Bottle and Pour In:

Coconut water: Coconut water is nature’s sports drink. Packed with potassium to help prevent muscle cramps and keep your electrolytes balanced.

Water: Water is the base level for hydration—your body always needs it, and it helps everything else do its job better.

Lemon juice: Lemon juice adds a vitamin C boost, plus a sharp, clean flavor that wakes up your taste buds.

Lime juice: Lime juice gives you a tangy hit of antioxidants and another splash of citrus power to support digestion and hydration.

Honey: Honey is natural energy. The small dose of sugar helps your body absorb water and salt more effectively—especially after sweating.

Sea salt: Sea salt replaces sodium lost through sweat. It keeps your hydration levels in check and helps you maintain nerve and muscle function.

2. Seal It Up, Shake Well, and You’re Good To Go.

Notes

1. Adjust the Sweetness

Want it sweeter? Add another drizzle of honey. Or, skip the it altogether if you prefer less sugar.

2. Adjust the Tang

Add more lemon juice if you like it sharp, or more coconut water if you’d like it to be more mellow.

3. Make it Ahead of Time

Store in the fridge for up to 2 days and simply give it a shake before sipping.
