Summary

This mango sorbet is simple, delicious, and always refreshing. And, the best part? It’s super easy to make!

Ingredients

4 Cups Sliced › and Frozen Mango

¼ Cup Maple Syrup

2 Tbsp Lime Juice

Directions

1. Prep the Ingredients

Make sure your frozen mango is ready to go. No need to thaw, just grab it straight from the freezer.

2. Shave the Mango

Using a shaved ice attachment, shave the frozen mango into fine ice-like shavings. Collect the shavings in a large bowl.

3. Mix it Up

In the bowl with the mango shavings, add the maple syrup and fresh lime juice.

Gently fold the mixture with a spatula until the syrup and lime juice are evenly distributed throughout the mango shavings.

4. Freeze to Set

Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until it’s firm enough to scoop.

5. Serve and Enjoy

Scoop into bowls and enjoy your homemade mango sorbet!

Notes

1. How to Slice It

We researched, tested, and tasted. This is the best way to slice a mango. Read up on it here

2. No Shaved Ice? No Problem

In a blender or food processor, combine the frozen mango, maple syrup, and fresh lime juice.

Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary. This might take a minute, but hang in there—it’s worth it!

3. Top it Off

Add a sprinkle of fresh mint, a drizzle of extra maple syrup, or some lime zest for an extra pop of flavor.

4. Save it for Later

Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
