Summary

Craving ice cream but not the sugar crash? This Neapolitan nice cream is made entirely from fruit and a few pantry staples—no added sugar, no dairy, no problem.

Ingredients

Vanilla Banana Nice Cream

2 Frozen Bananas (cut into 1-inch pieces)

1 Tbsp Almond Milk

2 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Tsp Salt

Chocolate Nice Cream

2 Frozen Bananas (Cut Into 1-Inch Pieces)

¼ Cup Cocoa Powder

2 Tbsp Almond Milk, Warmed

Tsp Salt

Strawberry Nice Cream

2 Frozen Bananas (Cut Into 1-Inch Pieces)

1 Cup Frozen Strawberries (Halved)

1 Tbsp Almond Milk

Tsp Salt

Directions

1. Start with Vanilla

Add frozen bananas, almond milk, vanilla, and salt to a food processor. Then, blend until smooth and creamy, like soft-serve ice cream. Scoop into a container and freeze while you make the next flavors.

2. Make the Chocolate

Use the same frozen banana base, and add cocoa powder, almond milk, and salt. Then, blend until rich, thick, and velvety. Freeze while you make the final flavor.

3. Make the Strawberry

Start with frozen bananas again, then add frozen strawberries, almond milk, and salt. Blend until smooth and bright pink.

4. Serve or Layer

Layer all three in one container for a Neapolitan trio, or store separately. Freeze for 30 minutes if you prefer a firmer texture—or dig in right away for soft serve vibes.

Notes

1. Let Things Defrost a Bit

Let bananas sit out for 2–3 minutes before blending if your machine struggles.

2. Add More Flavor

Want to take it further? Add chopped nuts, cacao nibs, or swirl in a little nut butter.

3. Save Some for Later

Best served fresh, but leftovers can be frozen for up to 1 week—just let it soften before scooping.
